Man arrested over death of 47-year-old man in Roscommon

A man has been arrested in connection with the death of a 47-year-old in Co. Roscommon.

Gardaí launched an investigation when the body of a man was discovered in the garden of a house in Ballinlough this morning.

The scene was preserved for a technical examination, and the services of the State Pathologist requested.

The man who was arrested was being held under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act at Castlerea Garda Station.
