Gardaí: People still driving while holding mobile phone

Gardaí have renewed their warning to drivers to stop using their hand held mobile phones.

More than 14,000 motorists got penalty points for this offence in the first six months of the year.

Gardaí say it puts the drivers and other road users at risk.

Assistant Commissioner Eddie Rock says some people keep doing it.
