Children’s education is being short-changed because of under-resourcing at secondary level, one of the state’s largest teaching unions said today.

The Association of Secondary Teachers of Ireland’s (ASTI) incoming president Patricia Wroe said she will campaign to ensure proper education funding is a priority for each national budget.
