Public's input sought on new organ retention laws
The public's input is being sought on proposed new legislation making it illegal for hospitals to retain the organs of still-born children without parental consent.
The law is being drafted following the recommendations of the Madden Report, which found that nearly 14,000 pituitary glands from children and adults were supplied to drug companies to make products.
