Tribunal decides not to call Peter Bacon as witness

Billionaire Denis O'Brien has convinced the Moriarty Tribunal not to call a competition expert as a witness for its inquiry into how ESAT Digifone won the second mobile phone licence.

Last year, the Supreme Court dismissed a bid by the former ESAT boss to restrain the tribunal from calling Peter Bacon.
