McGuinness: Attacks on Orange Halls, churches are 'idiotic'

Sinn Féin's Martin McGuinness has described attacks on Orange Halls, churches and police stations in the North as "idiotic".

He and the Stormont first minister, Ian Paisley, jointly spoke out, after a meeting of the British/Irish Council in Belfast today, against the burning down of a Baptist church at the weekend.

Mr McGuinness went on to also condemn threats against Catholics and against dissident republicans who had attacked a police station in County Tyrone.
