It is also proposing a second plant for Co Louth.

Locals in Derrydonnell, Co Galway, say they haven't been consulted.

An Bord Pleanála is assessing the proposals.

Quinn Group technical director Ciaran Leonard has said they will be happy to discuss their plans, which are in the very early stages.
