Gardaí this afternoon arrested two men in connection with a shooting in south Dublin.

The attack happened at Lakelands Road in Stillorgan just before 4pm this afternoon.

One man was injured, and was rushed to Saint Vincent's Hospital.

The two arrested men are being detained at Tallaght Garda station under the provisions of Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act.
