Two pipe bombs found on Limerick-Tipperary border

Gardaí confirmed this afternoon that they found two pipe bombs at Emly on the Limerick-Tipperary border during the weekend.

The devices were discovered following a tip-off from a member of the public.

They have been brought to garda headquarters in Dublin for forensic examination.
