Sailors rescued after losing engine power off west coast

A man and woman have been rescued after losing engine power while sailing off the Co Galway coast yesterday.

Their 20ft boat suffered engine failure shortly before 8pm around a mile north-west of Golam Head.

They were towed to safety in Kilronan by the Aran Islands lifeboat around two hours later.
