Fire and gas leak prompt evacuation of apartment complex

Gardaí in Kilkenny are investigating a suspicious fire and gas leak that caused the evacuation of up to 200 people from a block of apartments in the city early this morning.

The fire started in rubbish bins at the Fern Court complex on Abbey Street.
