€2m CAT scanner lying idle in hospital, Dáil told
A €2m CAT scanner is lying in a laundry room in a Dundalk hospital because it isn’t ready to be used yet, the Dáil heard today.
Fine Gael leader Enda Kenny was told by the Taoiseach that the equipment, which was part-fundraised by local people, needed a €700,000 upgrade before it could be installed in Louth County Hospital next month.
