McAleese expresses sadness at south coast fishing tragedies

President Mary McAleese has expressed her sadness at the tragedy unfolding off the south coast following the sinking of two fishing trawlers earlier this week.

Seven fishermen remain missing and feared drowned after their vessels went down off the coasts of Wexford and Waterford on Wednesday night and Thursday morning.
