Shannon Airport workers reject €35m restructuring plan

Workers at Shannon Airport have voted overwhelmingly against the Dublin Airport Authority's €35m restructuring plan for the Co Clare facility.

SIPTU says a ballot of its members has returned an 80% vote against the plan, while IMPACT and the TEEU have also rejected the proposals by 90% and 65% respectively.
