Gardaí seek help in finding missing Limerick woman
Gardaí in Limerick have launched a nationwide appeal for help in tracing the whereabouts of a Co Limerick woman who has been missing for over three weeks.
Theresa Warren from Caherconlish, Co Limerick, was last seen leaving a friend's house in the early hours of December 8.
The 29-year-old left the house on Greenhills Road, Garryowen, at around 2am and was spotted on CCTV footage a short time later passing the nearby greyhound track.
Gardaí believe she continued in the direction of St John's Hospital, where she was at about 2.30am on CCTV footage.
The television footage of Ms Warren's last known movements will be aired on television news tonight in case the missing woman is now in another part of the country.
"We are making this nationwide appeal for help just in the event that she may be in other parts of the country or in case anybody remembers seeing her on the night or since then," said Sergeant Seamus O'Neill, Henry Street Garda Station, Limerick.
"According to her friends she was in good form the night she went missing and nobody noticed anything unusual about her on the night expect that she left the house she was in quickly," he added.
When last seen Ms Warren was wearing dark blue jeans, a coloured jumper, a small, green jacket and white runners.
She is 5'7" tall, of medium build and has black, wavy hair, tinged with red.
Since her disapperance, searches have taken place across Limerick, involving gardaí, friends, family and members of the Limerick Marine Search and Rescue unit.
"Her family are very concerned and worried at this stage. They are holding out hope though, and we would urge anybody with information to contact the family or the gardaí at Henry Street on (061) 212400," said Sgt O'Neill.
