Man due in court over assault on garda on Inis Mór

A man is due in court today charged with assaulting a member of the Garda Síochána.

The accused, who's in his 20s, is being brought before a special sitting of Galway District Court after the Sergeant was assaulted at a pub on the Aran island of Inishmore.
