The former Attorney General Peter Sutherland is giving €4m to his old university.

Former AG donates €4m to UCD law school

The former Attorney General Peter Sutherland is giving €4m to his old university.

The money will go towards building a new law school at University College Dublin.

Sutherland has maintained close links with UCD throughout his career, and is a former tutor and visiting professor.

He has recently been appointed investment banker to the Vatican.
