Gardaí begin investigation into Ballymun shooting

Gardaí have launched an investigation into a shooting incident in north Dublin early this morning.

It's understood shots were fired into the bedroom window of a house on Silloge Road in Ballymun just before 6.30am.

Two children aged eleven and twelve were asleep in the room at the time, but no-one was injured.

Gardaí are searching for two men see running from the house immediately after in the incident`.
