263 people held on drink-driving charges since Friday

The Gardaí have confirmed that 263 people have been arrested for suspected drink-driving since Friday.

Authorities promised a hard-hitting safety operation this bank holiday weekend, after five people were killed and 137 injured during the October bank holiday last year.
