Redeveloped Ballymun welcomes 1000th family

The 1000th family to be rehoused as part of a massive redevelopment of the once notorious Ballymun suburb of Dublin will move into their new home today.

The landmark in the planned regeneration of the area will be celebrated by visiting dignitaries with tea and a giant 1000th ‘birthday’ cake.
