Students at colleges outside Dublin are twice as likely to rent accommodation than their counterparts studying in Dublin, with two thirds of Dublin-based students living with their parents, an Ulster Bank survey has shown.

Students at colleges outside Dublin are twice as likely to rent accommodation than their counterparts studying in Dublin, with two thirds of Dublin-based students living with their parents, an Ulster Bank survey has shown.

The survey shows that students attending Dublin colleges are more likely to live at home than students at colleges such as UCC, UL or NUIG, with just 31% of students at Dublin colleges living in rented accommodation compared with 62% of students at colleges outside of Dublin.
