The Equality Authority has said the Government's proposed new legislation on immigration doesn't go far enough to address the vulnerability of immigrants.

The authority says the Immigration, Residence and Protection Bill doesn't require public bodies and institutions to promote equality of opportunity and good relations with immigrants.
