More aid from Ireland has left Dublin bound for Lebanon.

More aid from Ireland has left Dublin bound for Lebanon.

The Christina Noble Foundation has sent medical supplies and clothing for children whose families have fled southern Lebanon and are seeking refuge in Beirut.

The foundation hopes to organise a convoy of trucks which will travel to Beirut from the Syrian capital Damascus.

The envoys have left Dublin Airport, and are flying to Damascus via London.
