FG urge Government crackdown on burglar alarm noise

The Government is being urged to crack down on householders whose burglar alarms keep disturbing the peace in built-up areas.

New house alarms should switch off after no more than 15 minutes, but many older devices are not maintained or linked up to proper monitoring services.
