Gardaí to investigate prisoner stabbing in Mountjoy

A man jailed yesterday for murdering his wife with a lump hammer has been attacked by fellow inmates at Mountjoy prison.

Goowill Udechuckwu - who is from Nigeria - is being treated in the Mater hospital after being stabbed at about 4pm this afternoon.
