Govt announces €9m funding for Irish groups in Britain

The Government has announced funding of almost €9m for groups working with the Irish community in Britain.

Minister for Foreign Affairs Dermot Ahern says the money represents a 25% increase on last year's funding and a 100% increase on the amount made available in 2004.
