Toddler drowned 'retrieving toy from pond'

A two-year-old boy died after drowning in a pond at a caravan park in Co Cork.

The boy, who was believed to have been trying to retrieve a toy from the water, was rushed to Cork University Hospital but efforts to resuscitate him failed.
