Thousands head west for annual Gaeltacht summer courses

Teenagers from across the country are heading west this week for the beginning of the annual Irish language summer courses in Gaeltacht areas.

More than 27,000 students travel to the Irish-speaking regions each year to immerse themselves in the language and enjoy a break with their peers.
