Two killed in Co Wicklow road accident

A man and a woman are dead following a road accident in west Wicklow this afternoon.

The two-vehicle crash occurred on the N81, 4km south of Blessington, shortly after 1pm.

Authorities said the road would remain closed until after 6pm this evening.
