Judge Curtin committee to meet in private session today

The Oireachtas committee set up to investigate the behaviour of Judge Brian Curtin is due to meet in private session today following the Supreme Court's decision to allow the inquiry to go ahead.

The committee was established two years ago after the Circuit Court judge was acquitted of possessing child pornography because the Garda warrant used to search his home was out of date.
