Three still in custody in relation to Wexford bomb find

Gardaí in Wexford are continuing to question three men arrested yesterday following a bomb find in the south of the county yesterday.

The three, who are in their 30s, 40s and 50s, were detained after an explosive device was found during a search of a van in the Ballycogley area.

The nature of the device has not been disclosed, but it is believed to have been a pipe bomb similar to ones found recently in Dublin.

Reports this morning said documents o n how to make pipe bombs were also found during the search and gardaí believe they may have broken up a training operation for dissident republicans.
