Gardaí seek public's help in two missing persons cases

Gardaí in Dublin and Galway are seeking help from the public in tracing two missing persons.

Detectives say they are growing increasingly worried about a 44-year-old man who has been missing since taking a taxi from his home on the South Circular Road last Saturday.

The man is 5'6" tall, of slim build, with grey hair. When last seen, he was wearing a black jacket, navy jeans, a light scarf and brown boots.

Gardaí say he may require urgent medical attention.

Meanwhile, detectives in Galway are seeking information on a 17-year-old youth who has been missing from his accommodation in Salthill since February 7.

Sam Connolly is described as 6ft tall, of slim build, with tight, sandy-coloured hair and a pale complexion.
