Labour seeks crackdown on contaminated food products

The Labour Party is calling for more inspections and stricter penalties for businesses that produce and sell contaminated food products.

The call follows the revelation that 20% of poultry samples tested in Ireland in 2004 contained a drug that is not supposed to be found in meat destined for the food chain.
