An elderly woman killed in a road accident in Co Tipperary last night has been named.

An elderly woman killed in a road accident in Co Tipperary last night has been named.

She was 82-year-old Teresa Delaney from Birr in Co Offaly.

She died instantly after her car collided with a van on the N62 between Birr and Roscrea.
