File being sent to DPP on fatal hit-and-run in Cork

65-year-old pedestrian Finbarr Walsh from Ballyphehane died after being knocked down on the Lee Road.

Following a Garda appeal, a man in his thirties presented himself to Gurranabraher Gardai station at lunchtime today.

Following several hours of helping gardaí with their inquiries, he has now left the Garda Station.
