File being sent to DPP on fatal hit-and-run in Cork
A file is to be sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions in relation to a hit-and-run accident in Cork city last night.
65-year-old pedestrian Finbarr Walsh from Ballyphehane died after being knocked down on the Lee Road.
Following a Garda appeal, a man in his thirties presented himself to Gurranabraher Gardai station at lunchtime today.
Following several hours of helping gardaà with their inquiries, he has now left the Garda Station.
