'Half of Irish men in denial about weight problems'

The Irish Cancer Society has claimed that almost half of all men in Ireland are in denial about weight problems which increase the risk of cancer.

The Irish Cancer Society has claimed that almost half of all men in Ireland are in denial about weight problems which increase the risk of cancer.

The society said a survey it commissioned found that 20% of Irish men were obese and a further 46% were overweight, but only 22% of respondents admitted to having a weight problem.
