The Irish Cancer Society has claimed that almost half of all men in Ireland are in denial about weight problems which increase the risk of cancer.

BOWEL cancer, which kills 500 men a year in this country, is at an all-time high. However, the majority of men do not understand either the risk factors or the symptoms of this common disease.

A group of politicians and public representatives is being asked to promote awareness of men’s cancer issues.
