Gardaí investigate two fatal accidents

Gardaí are investigating two fatal accidents, in Kildare and Donegal.

A 23-year-old man died when the car in which he was a front seat passenger went out of control on the Blessington Road, Naas around 3am.

The driver of the car was taken to Naas General Hospital where he was treated for minor injuries.

A 19-year-old pedestrian has also been killed. The young man was struck by a car at Lurgybrack, Letterkenny shortly after 4am.
