Teenager dies following road accident in Galway

An 18-year-old man has died of his injuries following a road accident in Galway yesterday morning.

The teenager was a back-seat passenger in a car that hit a wall shortly after 4.30am on the Dublin Road at Renmore Park.

He was taken to University College Hospital, where he died this afternoon.

The man’s name has yet to be released.
