Plea over theft of perscription drugs

Gardaí appealed for information today after a number of prescription drugs were stolen in an overnight robbery.

Burglars stole an undisclosed amount of the prescription drugs – which should only be taken under medical supervision – from a chemists at Superquinn Shopping Centre in Finglas.

Gardaí said the medication stolen during the burglary, which occurred between 1am and 3am, included Valium, Dalmane, Zimamine and Anxicalm.

Officers said anyone with information on the location of the drugs or the burglary could contact Finglas Garda Station.
