Tour operators report few cancellations after Turkish attack
Irish tour operators have reported very few cancellations in the wake of the death of an Irish girl in a bomb attack in Turkey over the weekend.
Seventeen-year-old Tara Whelan was killed along with four other tourists in the bombing of a minibus in the resort of Kusadasi on Saturday.
The Department of Foreign Affairs is advising tourists to exercise caution in the county.
Tour operators, however, said only a handful of people had cancelled planned holidays and all flights to Turkish resorts were continuing as normal.
