Campaign aims to aid domestic violence victims

Garda Commissioner Noel Conroy has launched a new campaign to encourage victims of domestic violence to come forward.

Speaking at the launch in Dublin today, Commissioner Conroy said victims should have confidence they will receive support from the Gardaí.

"Victims can feel isolated in some situations," he said. "Whether it be domestic violence or other types of violence, it's important that the victim should feel that they have support."
