Temple Bar opens up to reveal cultural centre

Dubliners have been invited to make their way down to Temple Bar today to enjoy the artistic richness of the area.

Up to 30 art and cultural groups are holding a day of events to highlight their contribution to the capital.

Organiser of the event, Gráinne Millar says people have the opportunity to discover the diversity of the area.

“Sometimes, there is an impression that there’s not much going on in Temple Bar. People don’t hear about the great amount of cultural activity here,” she said.

“There’s huge energy and it’s a special day where you can come in and really see what’s going on," she added.
