Fine Gael leader will be among the participants taking part in a mammoth charity cycle in aid of the Association of Suicidology over the June bank holiday weekend.

Enda Kenny will be joined by Mayo Gaelic football team manager John Maughan and members of the Mayo Wheelers.

It's part of a campaign to raise awareness of increasing suicide in Ireland and runs from Anascaul in south Kerry to Buncrana in north Donegal.

Deputy Kenny hopes that hopes any small amount of money will be contributed for an exceptionally good cause.
