Gardaí get €6.5m anti-gang fund to tackle Dublin crime

The Minister for Justice, Michael McDowell has announced the Government is giving the gardaí €6.5m to tackle organised crime in Dublin.

Mr McDowell has told the Dáil a new campaign "Operation Anvil" has started and is already targeting criminal gangs in the capital.
