Rescuers searching for missing Kerry fisherman discover body
Rescue teams searching for a missing fisherman in Co Kerry have discovered a body in the water west of the Blackwater Bridge, just outside Kenmare.
Rescuers had been combing the coast for 51-year-old Michael Stapleton who hasn't been seen since yesterday morning when he left his home to go fishing.
The body has not yet been identified but was found near to where Mr Stapleton was believed to have been fishing. His car was found parked 600 yards from the bridge.
The remains are being removed to Tralee General Hospital where they will undergo a post mortem examination.
