The Irish Penal Reform Trust (IPRT) has called on the Government to reconsider its plans to introduce electronic tagging of certain offenders.

The Irish Penal Reform Trust (IPRT) has called on the Government to reconsider its plans to introduce electronic tagging of certain offenders.

The call follows a UK study which found that tagging was an expensive failure.
