Gardaí have named the young man who was killed in a road accident in Co Louth yesterday afternoon.

Twenty-one-year-old John O'Brien, from Tallanstown, died when his motorcycle went out of control and crashed at Lisrenny.

The teenagers who died in a two-car collision near Gort in Co Galway on Friday night have also been named.

They were Marcus Scully and Cathal Geoghegan. Both were 18 year of age and from Ardrahan.
