Taoiseach Bertie Ahern has welcomed the ‘Yes’ victory in Spain’s EU constitutional referendum tonight.

Taoiseach Bertie Ahern has welcomed the ‘Yes’ victory in Spain’s EU constitutional referendum tonight.

“I am very pleased by the decision of the Spanish people to endorse the European Constitution,” said Mr Ahern. “I am confident that over the period ahead others will follow their lead”.
