Outer ring-road to be considered for Dublin
Transport Minister Martin Cullen has ordered the National Roads Authority to draw up plans for an outer ring-road around Dublin.
Reports this morning said the road would be designed to relieve gridlock on the M50 motorway, which currently circles the capital.
The NRA’s plans, when completed, will reportedly be considered as part of 10-year transport programme that is due to be presented to the cabinet next month.
